Type KV7

Resilient seated Knife Gate Valve providing tight shut-off on a broad range of slurries from heavy sludges to clean fluids. Round bottom chamfered blade and resilient seal to cope with demanding product media. Pocketless orifices ensure minimum pressure drop without clogging. Stuffing box repackable without removing valve from line.

VALVE BODY:	Manufactured from cast iron, bronze, aluminium, carbon and stainless steel, duplex and Hastelloy
BLADE:	Manufactured from stainless steel, duplex and Hastelloy
SPINDLE:	'Rising spindle' design manufactured from stainless steel
GLAND PACKING:	Mica-lube cotton, alternatively PTFE or other grade to suit application
SEAL:	Nitrile rubber, EPDM, Viton, solid PTFE and others
FACINGS:	To suit flanges BS EN1092 NP10, NP16, ANSI 150, DIN ND10, BST 'D' or 'E' & others
PNEUMATIC CYLINDERS:	'ISO' type with stainless steel piston rods, sized to suit 5 bar operating air pressure

Optional extras include extension spindles, non-rising spindles, alternative actuators, locking facilities, ni-hard port inserts, abrasive resistant body encapsulation (Halar), electrical and mechanical position indication and solenoid valves. Designs for higher pressure & other special applications also available.
